This job is for a licensed practical nurse working in a state psychiatric hospital, where you'll provide everyday care to patients with mental health issues, give medications, and help them learn daily living skills, all under the guidance of a registered nurse.
It's a team-based role in a supportive environment focused on patient recovery.
A good fit would be someone compassionate, detail-oriented, and comfortable with shift work in a behavioral health setting.
DSHS ESH Psychiatric Security Nurse (PSN)
Eastern State Hospital (ESH) is looking for Psychiatric Security Nurse to join our team.
In this role, you will help deliver high-quality nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse while working directly with patients on their path to recovery.
You'll collaborate with a dedicated team of medical professionals committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Currently, we have multiple full time opportunities including day, swing, and night shift.
Work hours at our location are 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM, and 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM.
Opportunities performed on site at this work location at least three days a week may be eligible for an additional 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary. Evening and Night shifts include a shift differential in addition to the standard compensation rate.
