Summary
This job is for a patrol deputy in the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office, where you'll respond to emergencies, enforce laws, and keep the community safe through regular patrols in a fast-growing area of Virginia.
It involves working 42 hours a week on various shifts, including nights and weekends, and completing training if you're new to law enforcement.
A good fit would be someone dedicated, physically fit, and passionate about public service, especially those with prior experience in policing, the military, or related fields.

Requirements
Loudoun County is one of the fastest growing Counties in the Commonwealth of Virginia and offers a competitive salary and benefits package as well as a relocation bonus for those residing more than 50 roadway miles from the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office Administrative Building. All selected applicants, who are not currently certified as a Virginia Law Enforcement officer, must successfully complete a Virginia law enforcement academy upon hire.
Additionally, all applicants must complete the department's Field Training Officer program. Loudoun County Sheriff's Office offers numerous specialized positions within the agency upon successful completion of all required training.
