About DTMB:
The Department of Technology, Management and Budget supports the business operations of state agencies through a variety of services, including building management and maintenance, information technology, centralized contracting and procurement, budget and financial management, space planning and leasing, construction management, motor vehicle fleet operations, and oversight of the state retirement systems.
About this position:This position provides coordination between State Facilities Administration (SFA) and DTMB Information Technology (IT) program areas of DTMB. This position will serve as a liaison in all matters involving IT, Telecom, and SFA services and projects. This position works closely with management and supervision performing professional research and analysis assignments in support of technology tools and needs. This position will facilitate all technology needs for SFA staff. In addition, this person will serve as a developer and provider of training regarding computers, phones, software, and all other IT projects. They will maintain records, prepare reports and compose correspondence relative to the work. Position Location:
This position is located in Lansing, MI. This position may work a hybrid (remote/office) schedule with 2 days required in the office per week. Selected candidates who have been approved to work a hybrid schedule must complete that work within Michigan. Candidates should confirm work location and schedule at the time of interview. ExperienceFour years of experience as an advanced 9-level worker in an ECP Group One classification.

Three years of experience as an E9, E10, or E11-level worker in an ECP Group One classification.

Two years of experience as an experienced level worker in an ECP Group One technician or paraprofessional classification.
OR
Two years of experience as a first-line supervisor in an ECP Group Three classification.
OR
One year of experience as a second-line supervisor in an ECP Group Three classification.
*Paraprofessional classifications are those requiring an associate's degree or two years of college.
Educational SubstitutionCollege credits may be substituted on a proportional basis (one year of college education may substitute for one quarter of the required experience) for up to one half of the required experience.
