This is a professional accounting and administrative position within Children and Youth that involves the total fiscal operations of the agency utilizing general accepted accounting standards and practices developed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; Office of Children, Youth, and Families; and the Department of Public Welfare.
Job responsibilities include supervising fiscal staff and possibly clerical staff while ensuring all duties both fiscal and clerical are performed accurately and timely.
This position develops and manages several budgets, manages revenues and expenditures and maintains financial ledgers and journals.
You will be expected to maintain up-to-date knowledge and implement state and federal regulations as they concern the fiscal operations of the child welfare systems.
