Key Requirements

  • Two years of professional experience in public or private social work

  • Or equivalent combination including at least 12 college credits in related social sciences
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills to guide staff and hold regular meetings
  • Knowledge of mental illness complexities and ability to ensure compliance with regulations through record reviews
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills for managing data and case plans
  • Flexibility to work outside standard hours if needed to meet client and family needs

Requirements

As a County Casework Supervisor, your work will be key for the success of our Blended Case Management (BCM) Program.

The goal of the program is to assist individuals with accessing resources they need to maintain their independence in the community.

Supervisors support this by holding regular meetings with individual staff members to ensure client needs are accurately identified and case management activities are consistent with service plans, conducting routine record reviews to maintain compliance with current regulations, and working with staff to creatively meet the needs of those we serve.

Leadership, attention to detail, knowledge of the complexities of mental illness, and the ability to organize various forms of data will all support the selected candidate’s success in this position.


The BCM Program at BCBH is long-standing with a proven track record of successfully supporting the people we serve.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. May need to work outside standard work hours to accommodate and meet the needs of families.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to two days per week, after successful completion of the probationary period and based on office needs.

    In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.

    If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Beaver Falls. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Two years of professional experience in public or private social work and a bachelor's degree with major course work in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and education which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences.

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
