This job involves leading a team of caseworkers in child welfare services, overseeing investigations into abuse and neglect, and coordinating support for children and families in Jefferson County, Pennsylvania.
You'll supervise daily operations, ensure protective services are delivered effectively, and collaborate with partners like schools and mental health providers.
It's ideal for someone with experience in social work who is passionate about helping vulnerable families and has strong leadership skills.

Casework is comprised of two distinct roles: Investigating allegations of abuse and neglect and ongoing support for children and families.
Every day presents different challenges which may include investigating allegations of abuse or neglect, working with school partners to remedy truancy, collaborating with mental health providers to serve the needs of children and families, or testifying in court to support and effort to protect children from suspected abuse or neglect.
Casework requires face to face contact with children and families. Each year of employment will be credited to Public Student Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).
