The State Correctional Institution (SCI) at Phoenix is seeking a highly motivated Corrections Maintenance Foreman with experience in building maintenance and repair to join our team.

In this position, you will supervise inmate work crews in completing routine construction and maintenance work assignments in and around the correctional facility.
The work you oversee will involve lawn care, snow removal, janitorial, and other general maintenance. You will plan and assign daily inmate schedules and inspect completed work assignments.
You may also assist other maintenance staff in the performance of semi-skilled and skilled work.
Further duties include issuing and inventorying all materials and tools used to complete work assignments.
Additionally, you will conduct searches of inmates and work areas to account for all materials and tools.
