The Department of Corrections is seeking an energetic, self-motivated professional to serve as a Corrections Activities Manager 2 at the State Correctional Institution (SCI) at Frackville.
In this leadership role, you will oversee and develop a comprehensive activities program designed to support inmate wellness, encourage positive behavior, and foster personal growth.

In this position, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, scheduling, and coordinating a comprehensive program of wellness and leisure activities for the institution’s population.
This includes creative and performing arts, social recreation, crafts, athletics, and a wide range of games and recreational opportunities.
Your duties will include preparing requisitions for supplies and equipment, serving as chairperson of the Inmate General Welfare Fund, and overseeing and coordinating inmate organizations.
You will supervise the Activities Department and its assigned staff, as well as monitor and guide volunteer participation within the department.
Additionally, you will arrange entertainment events and collaborate with Department Heads to organize and schedule volunteer programs.
