As a Corrections Food Service Supervisor, you will perform supervisory work over large-scale food preparation and food serving area on an assigned shift in a correctional institution.
Your responsibilities will involve supervising, coordinating, inspecting, and evaluating the work performed in preparation, production, serving, baking, meat cutting, and sanitation.
This includes supervising Food Service personnel and maintaining order and discipline among inmate workers, as well as ensuring compliance with established safety and sanitation standards.
You will also establish work procedures, schedule work and allocate staff to meet time requirements, and maintain records and reports relating to menu, recipes, orders, requisitions, inventory, food service personnel, and inmate help.
