Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-10. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or DP-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Applicants must have specialized experience in either data engineering, web application development, or both, as demonstrated by the following qualifications: Data Engineer: Experience in data engineering using Python, SQL, and/or Spark for data processing and transformation Experience building and integrating with data pipelines and ETL processes to support backend data services Familiarity with modern data engineering best practices, including data modeling, performance optimization, and scalable architecture design Strong experience with SQL and working with structured and semi-structured data in relational and NoSQL databases Exposure to cloud environments (i.e.
AWS, Azure) and their data services (i.e.
Amazon SageMaker, AWS Lambda, Amazon S3, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Table Storage) Analyzing large datasets to solve complex data problems and providing actionable insights to support frequent requests from senior leadership Web Application Developer: Experience in web development using JavaScript/TypeScript, and/or REACT Experience building and integrating with REST APIs and backend services Familiarity with modern front-end best practices, performance optimization, and responsive design Strong experience with SQL and working with structured data Exposure to cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) Analyzing data to solve complex problems and run frequent excursion requests from senior leadership Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/1500/computer-science-series-1550/ Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
