We are searching for a dedicated Communications Assistant to support the Lieutenant Governor’s communications and public engagement efforts.
This position gives you the opportunity to showcase your communication skills while amplifying the office's priorities across digital, print, and other media platforms, ensuring accurate, timely, and effective communication with constituents.

As a Communications Assistant, you will be providing essential support for the development and delivery of clear, accurate, and timely communications.
Work involves assisting with drafting, editing, and proofreading press releases, media advisories, newsletters, speeches, talking points, and official correspondence.
You will also have the opportunity to help create, schedule, and monitor social media content coverage and compile daily or weekly press clips; as well as assist with coordinating and staffing press events, interviews, and public appearances.
