Location: Columbia/ITAC (Intelligence Tracking & Communications)
*Part Time. Up to 30 hours per week to include working weekends.
This is an Intern position. The SCDPPPS Intelligence Tracking and Communications (ITAC) Center is located within a secured, information-sensitive environment. Security Awareness Training will be provided and the highest-level of confidentiality is expected. The intern will assist Intelligence Tracking and Communications staff with electronic offender monitoring and contacting Agents/Responders to address GPS surveillance alerts. Assists ITAC staff with radio communications and absconded investigations. Assists with computer, telephone, email, and other technical operations for the purpose of assisting various PPP staff and other law enforcement entities.A high school diploma and relevant program experience. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required program experience.
Active full-time student pursuing an Associate or Bachelor of Science Degree within the Criminal Justice Program.
