This role requires proficient computer, organizational and communication skills to carry out daily clerical duties. Requirements

This position will work closely with case managers and administrative staff to perform clerical duties needed to ensure processes are followed for the department.

Day-to-day activities can vary, offering a unique and challenging environment. Employees in this role maintain attention to detail, organization, and computer skills.

This role uses the computer to enter client information into various state and county databases.

You will perform a variety of clerical support duties such as typing correspondence, electronic scanning and filing, answering phone calls, and greeting visitors.

Incumbents are responsible for opening and sorting mail as well as distributing incoming faxes.


Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Six months as a Clerk Typist 1 and educational development to the level of eighth grade; or
  • Completion of a high school business curriculum which included at least one typing course; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.
