Requirements

This will be overnight shift lead work in a Fine Wine & Good Spirits Store. An employee in this job is responsible for leading the overnight shift in a liquor store, assigning, and overseeing the work of lower-level associates. While work includes the oversight of other associates, the performance of said routine duties will be required. Work includes, but is not limited to stocking shelves, building displays, cleaning the store, unloading shipments, assembling wholesale/retail orders and following store specific marketing plans and resets. This position will also be responsible for the proper and timely submission of time and attendance for the overnight team. Routine store duties are performed and directed independently, while guidance and instruction will come from their General Manager for new or unusual circumstances. Work is reviewed by their General Manager through conferences and reports for adherence to standards for their overall performance.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Free - Off Street Parking
  • Full-time employment.
  • Work hours: 10:15pm - 6:15am
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: The starting salary for this position for new Commonwealth employees is fixed at the minimum salary listed above and is not negotiable.
  • This position may result in a shift differential of 20% of the regular hourly rate.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Six months as a Liquor Store Clerk 1 or Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk (Commonwealth job titles or equivalent Federal Government job titles, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • Six months of retail sales work.

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.


Legal Requirements:

You must pass a background investigation.

An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code.

Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
