Full Job Description

This position is located at Hunter Auto Skills Center, Hunter Army Airfield, GA. This is a Regular Part-Time position with a minimum work week of 20 hours and eligible for benefits.

Progressively responsible clerical experience. 2. Computer knowledge and experience in database, spreadsheets, word processing programs. 3. Experience in handling monetary transactions. 4.

Must possess good communication and customer skills. 5. Knowledge of automotive repair order and billing systems. 6. Must possess a valid driver's license. Major Duties:

  • Performs a variety of administrative and clerical functions including, but not limited to typing and computer work. Assist in storage functions to include signing customers up for new accounts, receive payments update customer’s information.
  • Opens and secures the Auto Shop. Incumbent schedules appointments and maintains automotive shop schedule. Screens phone calls for service requests and refers them to the appropriate person for action, personally handles routine calls.
  • Processes and verifies cash flow transactions and deposits and balances daily/weekly/monthly reports. Sets up and maintains various office files. Sign up customers for the POV automotive sales lot. Submit Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs).
  • Create automotive repair orders and complete billing using an automated program. Assign automotive repair bays and complete bay rental documents. May utilize a government vehicle.
  • Performs other duties assigned.
