Requirements
In this position, you will be responsible for the strategic oversight and administration of the planning, direction, and coordination of activities essential to the medical review of driver qualifications through the Medical Unit's licensing systems. Your role will involve the direct supervision of clerical staff, facilitated through regular group and individual meetings, alongside the meticulous management of customer discrepancy transactions, correspondence, and bureau medical files. You will be responsible for ensuring strict adherence to financial protocols, including the daily reconciliation and deposit of cash drawer funds. Additionally, you will serve as a central liaison for the Office of Chief Counsel, messenger services, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Driver License Examiners, law enforcement, and legislative aides, while conducting critical research into serious injury or fatality reports to provide detailed case analysis to senior management.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Clerical Supervisor 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- One year as a Clerical Assistant 3 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Two years as a Clerical Assistant 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirement:- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirement:
- This position requires the selected candidate to undergo and pass a Fingerprint and Name-Based Criminal History Check prior to employment.
