Requirements

This position performs a wide variety of moderately complex clerical and public contact activities at Frances Slocum State Park. These duties include the operation of the Aspira system on a daily basis, accounting of all monies collected from income sources, prepare, file, and submit monthly equipment sheets, employee program attendance, and volunteer records. Additionally, prepares monthly automotive reports and completes monthly oil and gas summary for fuel usage.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time, seasonal employment with no healthcare benefits.
    • There is not an option to buy into health care benefits.
  • Days/shifts will vary, will work 5 days/37.5 hours per week to include holidays and weekends
    • The season runs from approximately February 2026 until October 2026 at which time the employee will be placed on leave without pay.
    • The employee will automatically be returned to employment approximately February 2027.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting hourly rate of $18.46 (before taxes).

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • Graduation from high school; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.
