The Department of Labor & Industry is looking for a Clerical Assistant 3 to join the Unemployment Compensation Board of Review (UCBR), Administration Office. This position plays a key role in supporting the UCBR by coordinating second-level appeal draft decisions for board review and voting, while also serving as a central point of contact for correspondence and public inquiries. Requirements
As a Clerical Assistant 3, you will serve as the primary point of contact for the UCBR by answering calls on the main telephone line, greeting visitors, and responding to inquiries. You will be responsible for processing incoming and outgoing correspondence and handling requests related to board-level appeals, reconsideration requests, and appeals returned from the Commonwealth Court. Work also involves coordinating the routing of draft decisions from UCBR legal staff to board members for review and voting, as well as processing returned draft decisions for the next stage action. This may include returning drafts to legal staff for revision, forwarding decisions to the Decision Processing Unit for issuance, or scheduling matters for discussion at board meetings. You will have the opportunity to assist with training new employees and cross training clerical staff from other units, providing direction and guidance regarding procedures in Board draft decision processing.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Work hours may be negotiable with thirty-minute (30) lunch break.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week upon successful completion of training.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
