If you do, the Bureau of Women, Infant & Children (WIC)'s Division of Quality Assurance and Program Integrity is seeking a Clerical Assistant 2 to join our dynamic team of professionals. Requirements

As a Clerical Assistant 2, you will assist in the preparation of correspondence, maintenance of the Division's policy and procedures manual, and coordination of procurements and contracts. You will also support the activities of the WIC Advisory Board by managing logistical, administrative, and operational tasks. This work involves coordinating meetings, ensuring compliance with the Sunshine Act, and monitoring the Board's resource account. This position also serves as the WIC Right to Know Law Coordinator, where you will be responsible for preparing responses and assisting with the review and research of correspondence for these requests.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday thru Friday with a 1-hour lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week on Monday, Thursday, and Friday. You will report to the office on Tuesday and Wednesday.

    In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.

    If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg, PA. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.

  • Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting salary of $36,108 (before taxes).

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration);or
  • Graduation from high school; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.
