The PA State Police are searching for a Clerical Assistant 2 who will provide clerical support to the Firearms Administration Section in Harrisburg, PA. Requirements
In this position, the Clerical Assistant 2 will be responsible for data entry and verification of various PA State Police documents in the automated systems. You will review information for accuracy, organize, encode, and extract all necessary information for data entry as instructed. The confidentiality of records, in compliance with the Pennsylvania Uniform Firearms Act, and in conformance to Pennsylvania State Police policy and regulation, is imperative in this position.Interested in learning more? - Work hours are 7:30am to 3:30pm, Monday-Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,108 (before taxes).

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:- Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Graduation from high school; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:- Four (4) years or more of customer service experience.
- Four (4) years or more of data entry experience.
- Four (4) years or more of experience in records management.
- You must be willing to work onsite full-time. Teleworking is not an option as part of this position's work schedule.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:- You must pass criminal history and background investigations if you do not have a current Pennsylvania State Police background on file.
