You qualify for the GS-14 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-13 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as: Assisting in the development of requirement analysis, independent government cost estimates, and cost benefit analysis.

Assisting in the development of recommendations based on study results and providing management with new information and predicative advice concerning alternatives for resolving operational problems.

Coordinating with the program management office to identify program needs to include monitoring the cost, schedule, and performance parameters of all assigned contracts.

Conducting follow-ups to ensure accomplishment of events are executed in a timely and effective manner for any projected cost savings or efficiencies.

Major Duties:

As aBusiness Operations Specialist, at the full performance level, you will perform the following duties Participates in the span of the acquisition life cycle from the initial planning through the description of technical requirements, market research, proposal evaluation, contract monitoring, performance assessment and problem resolution.

Assists in the development of requirement analysis, independent government cost estimates and cost benefits analysis.

Functions as a consultant working with the program management office to identify program needs. The first 100 applicants will receive first consideration.
