Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-10. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves analyzing data related to ship maintenance in a naval shipyard, turning complex technical information into easy-to-understand reports and visuals to help managers make better decisions.
You'll work with various data sources and tools to spot trends and improve operations.

You will serve as a BUSINESS ANALYST in the Business and Planning Office (Code 1220) of PSNS and IMF.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: conducting data analysis in support of ship maintenance; translating technical findings into clear data products for management decision-making; collecting and interpreting data from shipyard sources like AIM, PMC, SPF, COST, SUPDESK, or other similar sources; using scripting languages like SQL, VBA, PowerShell, Qlik Script, Python, or other similar languages; using business intelligence tools like Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, or other similar tools to produce reports and dashboards; identifying trends and gaining insights to improve operations and strategic planning.
