Requirements

In this position, you will oversee the National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS) Certification Program.

Your work will involve analyzing and testing new or change date elements, as well as investigating all technical issues.

You will coordinate with participants to determine their technical readiness and capability to submit NIBRS data.

Some of your duties will include documenting the certification process for interested participants, providing test cases and audit notes for corrections, and advising the supervisor when an agency is ready to begin submitting data.

Additionally, you will attend Pennsylvania Uniform Crime Reporting System project-related meetings and communicate any issues that arise.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Free parking!

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within three months of graduating with a qualifying degree.

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
