District of Columbia Army National Guard Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington, DC Budget Analyst GS-0560-11 Group 3: Current and former uniformed service members (Active, Reserve, Guard) nationwide who are eligible for military membership in the (DCARNG).

**THIS IS NOT A CIVILIAN POSITION.

MILITARY MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED** Permanent Change of Station (PCS): PCS not authorized Relocation Incentive: Incentive may be authorized Selected Reserve Incentive Program: Acceptance of this position will cause termination of Federal bonuses pursuant to respective Selected Reserve Incentive Programs (SRIP).

This termination may be with or without recoupment of payments already made.

NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED: This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military rank and assignment in the District of Columbia Army National Guard.

Selectee will be required to wear military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE: To meet basic entry qualification requirements, evaluate applicants for experience, education, or training involving skills in applying problem solving techniques; and skills in communicating effectively both orally and in writing.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 1-year specialized experience, education, or training equivalent to at least the next lower grade level.

Must have experience, education, or training of finance budget competencies that provided knowledge of financial principles and procedures.

Candidate must have an excellent understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the National Guard financial budget business program requirements.

A candidate must have experiences and training that demonstrates the abilities to follow directions, to read, retain, and understand a variety of instructions, regulations, policies, and procedures.

year of appointment. This position is located in the Army National Guard (ARNG), Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ), Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS), G-4 office of the Director.

The purpose of this position is to perform analytical, technical, and administrative duties of budget formulation and justification, presentation, and execution.

The incumbent in this position is responsible for the following Management Decision Packages (MDEP) or portions thereof: AMCE, AMTE, AMTV, NGP2, QLOG-C, and a portion of QLOG-F and the logistics portion of PRID, PRAT, and TRST.

Duties: Serve as the primary analyst regarding logistics resource management.

Perform program analysis, including planning, programming, budgeting, funds allocation, accounts management, internal controls and reporting.

Provide fiscal and budgetary policy, and regulatory guidelines for directorate.

Provide financial advice, interpretation, and guidance on a variety of budget related matters, to include types of funding available, budgetary changes and year end close out procedures.

Adjust fund allocations as required Verify, enter, and adjust budgetary data in a variety of forms, schedules and reports Performs other duties as assigned.
