Job Description

Summary

This job is for a bartender at a bowling center on a U.S. Army base in Germany, where you'll mix and serve drinks, handle customer payments, keep the bar clean, and manage any disruptive patrons.

It's a hands-on role in a busy, casual setting that requires good people skills and basic math for billing.

A good fit would be someone with prior bar experience who is reliable, physically able to lift light weights, and comfortable working in an overseas military environment.

Full Job Description

This position is located at USAG Rheinland-Pfalz - Strikers Bowling Center, Baumholder, Germany Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

This position will have an initial cut-off of 18-March-2026. Applications prior to that date will be given first consideration. Additional referral lists may be issued as vacancies are needed.

Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Meet state/local age requirements for the serving of alcoholic at the time of appointment (18 years old) Be able to lift and carry weights up to 20 pounds.

Possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory. Skill in mixing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. Claimed experience must be verifiable through your resume.

Assumptions will not be made. Major Duties:

  • Sets up bars for operation, obtains cash bank and stocks service bar. Assures an adequate stock level is maintained, sets up storeroom and work area to permit easy access to stock items.
  • Prepares a limited variety of simple alcoholic beverages as requested by patrons and wait staff. Records sales and makes change or prepares charge slips.
  • Keeps bar and work area clean and sanitary.
  • Identifies persons who become unruly or who appear intoxicated, resolves the problem or seeks assistance in accordance with established procedures.
