This job involves creating and managing video, audio, and multimedia content to support the Small Business Administration's disaster loan programs, including producing training videos, live events, and social media strategies.
You'll handle everything from planning and filming to editing and troubleshooting equipment in an Atlanta office.

You will serve as an Audiovisual Production Specialist for US Small Business Administration, Field Operations Center East in Atlanta, GA.
This position plays a crucial role for the delivery of SBA's disaster loan program, by directing and coordinating internal and external audiovisual communications activities.

Generally, time in Non-Pay status is not creditable towards the specialized experience requirement listed below. You must meet all qualification requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
You must qualify based on experience. Experience: To receive credit, you must indicate the month and year as well as the average hours worked per week for each employer.

GS-12: To qualify you must have at least 1 full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the GS-11 level in the Federal service that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skill, and ability to perform successfully in this position.
This experience may have been gained in a Non-Federal service position.
In addition, this Specialized Experience must demonstrate the following: Direct, produces, and edits videotaped, live programs, teleconferences; and/or other similar productions; AND Records audio and video content for various projects, such as training videos or live events; AND Manages, maintains, and troubleshoots audio visual equipment, facilitating multimedia presentations such as podcasts, and ensuring the effective delivery of information through various audio-visual channels; AND Plans pre-production (scripting, storyboarding), on-site setup and operation (lighting, sound, and cameras), and postproduction editing and finalization; AND Uses multimedia software such as Adobe Creative Suite, especially Adobe Audition, Photoshop, and Premiere, to prepare content and publish to the web.

As an Audiovisual Production Specialist at the GS-1071-12, some of your typical work assignments may include: Participates in the planning, building and implementation of social media strategies to drive engagement and build brand awareness.
Provide technical expertise and support through a variety of audiovisual methods and techniques to achieve the communications and marketing goals of the agency.
Manages the audiovisual media room and equipment, responsible for ordering supplies and equipment for the audiovisual facilities as needed and as budgets permit.
Performs preventive maintenance and minor repairs of equipment.
Directs, produces, and/or edits videotaped and live programs, teleconferences; and/or other similar productions related to the mission of the agency.
