Base salary range: $147,649 - $221,900

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).

You'll work closely with leaders to identify training needs and create customized learning plans that support organizational goals.

As an Agency Learning Section Chief, you will lead and supervise a team of professional trainers delivering comprehensive learning and development services to assigned agencies.
You will be responsible for conducting independent training needs analyses using consultations, surveys, focus groups, interviews, and data review, to identify competency gaps and align learning strategies with agency goals and business outcomes.
Work involves designing, developing, and delivering customized training programs using adult learning principles, including instructor-led and virtual formats, as well as creating supporting materials such as objectives, presentations, guides, and participant resources.
You will also have the opportunity to serve as a key consultant on training solutions, including out-service opportunities, and collaborate with agency training offices and internal partners to ensure a coordinated, enterprise-wide approach.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
