As a part-time Senior Center Operator 1 with the Lehigh County Area Agency on Aging, you will participate in the management of our Neighborhood Senior Centers.
Each center offers social and recreational activities, educational opportunities, exercise classes, nutrition counseling, volunteer opportunities and a daily nutritious lunch to help our county’s aging residents be healthier, more active, and as committed as ever to serving their community.

In this part-time Senior Center Operator 1 position, you will perform public contact work within the framework of our Neighborhood Senior Center Program.
Each position is primarily assigned to one center location but is expected to change sites when requested on an as needed basis.
You will participate in an on-the-job training program designed to develop the skills and abilities necessary for handling food and doing public contact work.
Work involves direct management of the senior center, monitoring of food service, and establishing contacts within the community to enhance your personal knowledge of the physical, cultural, and social environment of each participant.
