Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves working as a human resources advisor in a naval research center, helping with hiring, job classifications, and compensation for a team of about 400-500 scientists, engineers, and technical staff.

This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-3 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-9 and GS-10.
You will serve as a Human Resources Advisor in the Corporate Operations Department, Human Resources Division, Staffing and Classification Branch (Code 1013) of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-2 pay band (GS-5 through GS-8 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Interpreting and implementing rules, regulations, or procedures related human resources in the area of staffing or classification.
