Full Job Description

You will serve as a SUPPORTABILITY INTEGRATOR (SENIOR LEVEL LOGISTICIAN) in the DIGITAL ENGINEERING DEPT, PRODUCT SUPPORT DIVISION D20 of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.

This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing leadership and expertise in Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements to resolve complex programmatic, financial, technical, and logistics problems affecting the installation and modernization of shipboard combat systems and equipment.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Major Duties:

  • You will be responsible for overseeing all product support activities for assigned systems and ensuring the technical quality of logistics products and processes.
  • You will provide programmatic oversight of the combat systems logistics, including direct risk identification, the development of mitigation strategies, and active execution monitoring.
  • You will manage and execute the Integrated Product Support (IPS) processes and are directly responsible for ensuring the health and sustainability of assigned combat system.
  • You will collaborate with Participating Acquisition Resource Managers (PARMs) to ensure the effective sustainment and delivery of logistics products, with a focus on fleet readiness and full lifecycle support.
  • You will interface directly with NAVSUP to address supply chain issues, Casualty Report Impacts, and other fleet support requirements.
  • You will identify requirements and develop budgets for assigned combat systems sustainment, including Baseline Assessment Memorandum (BAM) requirements.
  • You will serve as a subject matter expert, preparing technical papers, lead investigations to address deficiencies, develop performance metrics for department programs.
  • You will be responsible for overseeing the technical health and sustainment of the Integrated Product Support competency for the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division.
