The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utlitization (OSDBU) is actively involved with outreach that is sponsored by GSA or sponsored by other federal agencies, congressional, gubernatorial offices and industry resource partners.
Location of position: GSA, Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) We are currently filling two vacancies but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

The GS-13 salary range starts at $108,173.00 per year. Locality pay will be determined upon selection.
To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is: Researching, interpreting and applying federal regulations to procurement actions, providing assistance to businesses or other stakeholders in the Federal procurement/contracting process, and the development of educational materials to targeted audiences of professionals.
Examples of such experience include: Participating in procurement processes (developing requirements for statements of work, program management, contracting actions such as participating in acquisition planning, contract administration or closeout) developing educational materials to promote the sales of goods and services to a government organization.
Organizing networking events, developing and presenting workshops or other educational materials to assist small businesses in dealing with a Federal agency, or comparable entity. Major Duties:
Assists the Acquisition Workforce to source socio-economic small businesses and small businesses capable of meeting the government's requirement, and actively participates in acquisition planning, forecasting, projections, and subcontracting.
Supports the function of the Small Business Administration (SBA) Procurement Center Representative (PCR) in executing their duties and functions relating to the Small Business Act, Section 15(k), and portions of Sections 8, 31, 36, 44, and other related acquisition and small business regulations as per Public Law 95-507.
Serves as a senior level advisor to GSA contracting officer's, prime contractors, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with subcontracting plans and procedures.
Applies data driven technology to generate new, and innovative small business ideas, solutions and/or solve problems.
Develops and provides a variety of training such as how to do business, how to market your small business and how to use the Forecast of Opportunities tool with the Federal Government.
Develops and provides training on the GSA acquisition programs; provides training on small business and the socio-economic small business programs (i.e. SDB, WOSB, SDVOSB, HUBZone).
Fosters and possesses excellent communication skills with all areas of Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utlitization (OSDBU), (Policy, Customer Care and Outreach, Regional Staff and Budget, etc.).
Demonstrates the ability to work cohesively and speak in a well-organized, informative manner.
