Full Job Description

You will serve as a Contracting Officer's Representative in the Electronics Acquisition & Sensors Branch in the USW Systems Engineering Division of the Undersea Systems & Sustainment Engineering Department of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA.

This position is equivalent to the GS-13/14 level. This position is not a high grade, therefore salary may be capped at the GS-13 Step 10 rate.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or NT-4 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: assessing contracts, interacting with private contractors, and analyzing proposals to support engineering and technical service contracts.

  • You will assist in the technical monitoring and administration of tasks awarded against multi-million dollar engineering and technical support service contracts.
  • You will provide proper and appropriate oversight of Contractor performance and contract execution to ensure financial and technical compliance with the contract terms and conditions.
  • You will document contractor performance on an annual basis, at a minimum, and submit an annual assessment in the Contractor Performance Assessment System (CPARS) as required.
  • You will be required to provide routine/ad hoc status reports on contractor performance, financial execution, and contract execution to stakeholders, and make influential recommendations to stakeholders on complex contract development and management.
  • You will plan, lead, coordinate and complete the necessary actions for follow-on contract vehicles to prevent a lapse in contractor support/services.
  • You will collaborate with Customer Advocates, Technical Project Managers and department line managers regarding contract requirements, opportunities, and goals.
