About the Position: This position is located at Dover Air Force Base, Delaware. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.

Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes using office automation equipment and software; performing administrative functions such as answering phones, scheduling meetings, and appointments, maintaining files, and providing customer service; and preparing correspondence from draft to final format.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).

OR Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.

OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.

To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18.

Add the two percentages.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).

Major Duties:

  • Serve as the principal Patient Centered Medical Home Team office manager performing clerical, office automation support, and administrative duties to ensure operations run efficiently.
  • Coordinate with the Referral Management Center to ensure patient specialty appointments are scheduled and results received by appropriate Primary Care Manager.
  • Procure and maintains administrative supplies and equipment.
  • Participate in the proactive patient care process by utilizing AF scheduling and Health Information Technology platforms.
  • Create and maintain files, records, and minutes from a variety of organized meetings.
