This is an exciting opportunity to provide administrative staff support and supervise business licensing application processing within the Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs’ Business Licensing Division.

The Administrative Assistant 2 reports to the Administrative Officer 2 and directly supervises Clerical Assistant 3s and the Licensing and Certification Evaluator support staff.
This position assists with coordination of the work performed by the employees assigned to process applications for the business professions.
Work includes performing duties for special projects involving unit activities as well as other duties, as assigned.
The Administrative Assistant 2 may have Board Administrator duties, including conducting Board Meetings and being the primary resource for the Board-related information.

Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 50% after upon successful completion of probationary period.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
