Base salary range: $30,286 - $39,372

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves providing everyday administrative help in a Navy recruiting office in Minnesota, such as creating documents, managing files, handling emails and calls, and supporting travel arrangements for staff.
It's a good fit for someone with basic office experience who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable using computers for routine tasks.
No advanced degrees are needed, just one year of relevant work or volunteer experience.
You will serve as an Administrative Support Assistant in the Supply Department of Navy Recruiting District (NRD) Minneapolis / Navy Talent Acquisition Group (NTAG) Northern Plains.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) operating a computer terminal and related computer equipment to create, compose, edit, calculate, revise, retrieve, store, print, and copy a wide range of documents in draft and final form; 2) Skill in software similar to MS Word and Excel to produce and edit correspondence, awards, reports, graphs, calendars, statistics, mailing labels, tables, etc.; 3) maintaining and updating files on policies and directives; 4) replenishing office supplies, setting up administrative controls and suspense dates, and performing other related clerical support functions.
