Assists clients in person or via telephone. Screens applicants, makes appropriate referrals, answers questions & resolves problems. Adheres to all agency policies, HIPAA Medicaid Confidentiality rules.
Must maintain punctuality with established schedules & exhibits exemplary customer service skills (friendly, helpful, courteous, and harmonious).
Provides administrative assistance to eligibility staff to improve efficiency in case processing. Reviews incoming applications/reviews for completeness.
Scans files accurately into OnBase using correct indexing and county information. Receives faxes and directs faxes to appropriate worker or virtually prints faxes into OnBase.
Available for Emergency Preparedness/Shelter duty when needed. 100% compliant in attending agency training as assigned.
Must exhibit dependability/reliability/time management by adhering to established schedules and completing job tasks effectively and efficiently.
Provides and maintains current and up to date contact information for self and county staff responsible for participating in emergency shelter duty.

Occasional overnight travel.Sitting or standing for long periods of time.Lifting requirements: 20 lbs. Qualifications Knowledge of laws, regulations and policies relevant to the agency of employment.
