Full Job Description

You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST in the FACILITY OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE BRANCH of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band NO-04 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Administering corrective and preventive maintenance (CM/PM) programs for commercial or industrial HVAC systems and elevator systems; and tracking inspections, certifications and maintenance records to ensure regulatory compliance and operational readiness.

  • You will manage operational programs, policies, processes and procedures to include heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC); Infrastructure Condition Assessment program (ICAP); facility support contracts (FSCs); and NAVFAC recurring packages
  • You will consult with and advise project management and electrical engineers and others as to availability of equipment to facilitate repairs.
  • You will prioritize HVAC technician responses to routine and emergent issues; and work closely with Maintenance Team Lead to ensure efficient management of both program areas.
  • You will provide oversight and ensure proper management of annual CM and PM budgets for operational programs.
  • You will review FSC's, HVAC contract and NAVFAC recurring packages to ensure accuracy of scope, quantities, and costs.
  • You will track status and progress of work, make day-to-day adjustments in accordance with established priorities, and obtain assistance from supervisor for problems that arise.
