Qualifications:GS-7: To be eligible at the GS-7 level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-6 level.
Specialized experience: is defined as specialized experience performing a wide range of administrative, technical and clerical support duties such as providing customer support to internal and external customers; handling all mail services including processing of incoming and outgoing mail and monitoring mail metering equipment; answering multi-line telephone systems; overseeing supply and property inventory; preparing security paperwork; reviewing budgetary documents for accuracy and completeness; purchasing of supplies, equipment and services, and providing office automation support (e.g., creating, copying, editing, storing, retrieving a variety of documents); or maintaining data entry logs and databases; preparing reports for a program area to track and review trends and processes To be qualified, you must type at least 40 words per minute based on a 5 minute sample with three or fewer errors.
(A typing test may later be required.) Interagency Career Transition Assistance Plan (ICTAP)- The ICTAP provides eligible displaced Federal competitive service employees with selection priority over other candidates for competitive service vacancies.

If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for supporting the Administrative Division by providing essential clerical and technical support activities.
Typical work assignments will include: Makes purchases within the delegated monetary authorization keeping appropriate records.
Reviews and reconciles various documents and records and resolves a variety of problems through coordination with vendors.
Maintains inventory of supplies and property, reviewing justification and quantity of items requested. Receives supplies and equipment, reviews invoices and ensures all items billed are received.
Maintain and acquire GSA fleet vehicles. Examines incoming transactions such as invoices and vouchers for accuracy and adequacy of supporting documents.
Receives visitors and telephone calls, controlling access to the office by verifying all visitors are properly cleared and advising caller or visitor to contact the appropriate agency on matters outside the office's purview.
Controls all aspects of mail operations to include receipt, routing, dispatch and control of communications.
Coordinate with security office to update Continuous examination investigation requirements for staff members.
Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
