Base salary range: $51,332 - $66,732
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-8. Master's degree or 2 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading administrative operations for a Navy command, handling everything from personnel paperwork and security clearances to managing budgets and training programs.
You'll advise senior leaders and ensure smooth day-to-day support for both civilian and military staff.

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience and possess working knowledge in administrative support functions such as directives, correspondence, forms, mail, evaluations, data storage and retrieval, reports, orders, travel, and government purchase card/travel card management experience for civilian and military personnel.
Experience and possess working knowledge on implanting Command policy and procedures affecting all aspects of personnel and information system security.
Experience performing all aspects of supervision, planning and assigning work, and setting priorities.
Experience developing training plans, performance plans/assessments and Individual Development Plans. Experience developing and managing recall bills, personnel charts, and muster reports.
Experience and able to provide briefs related to Command Security and ensure all current/prospective employees (civilian and military) are properly cleared for access to classified material.
Experience and possess working knowledge of DPAS for ensuring all equipment is properly entered and inventoried within the given timeframe.
Experience managing Command OPTAR to include purchasing, completing logs, and completing monthly reconciliation reports.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
