This job involves managing day-to-day administrative tasks for a high-level naval operations office, such as handling security for sensitive materials, coordinating staff support, processing paperwork, ordering supplies, and arranging travel.
It's a good fit for someone organized and detail-oriented with experience in office management, especially in government or secure environments, who can work independently to support executives.
The role requires at least one year of relevant experience at a similar level.
You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER in the IMMEDIATE OFC OF CHIEF OF NVL OPS.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience includes duties related to the following: Conducting security management work including clearing personnel, handling and storage of classified materials, proper destruction and adhering to all classification procedures, to include certification of spaces; Providing administrative functions such as adhering to correspondence manual, logging correspondence, storage/record-keeping, and all administrative processes in government service; Providing direct support of executive staff, coordinating with other front office staffs, and important visitor coordination; Acquiring office supplies, processing travel, and other budget execution items with limited supervision.
