The Department of Military and Veterans Affairs is seeking an organized and motivated Administrative Officer 3 to join us in the Bureau of Veterans Programs.

In this position, you will create awareness of veterans’ housing and transportation matters and garner support to enable and facilitate the provision of related services.
Your work will involve planning outreach programs to educate the public and spread awareness of veterans’ housing and transportation issues.
You will also develop initiatives and projects to provide related support to veterans in need.
Some of your duties will include identifying housing and transportation services required, maintaining statewide lists of support, and developing methods for analyzing the impacts of initiatives and efforts.
Additionally, you will liaison with the Department of Corrections to assist recently paroled veterans with potential housing and transportation needs.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, 5 out of 10 days in a pay period.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Jonestown. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
