Job Description

Summary

This job involves leading and coordinating all administrative tasks for a key department in the U.S.

Full Job Description

You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER in the Plans, Policies & Operations Department of HQ US MARINE CORPS.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Directing and coordinating all departmental administrative functions, ensuring compliance with policies, and overseeing and reviewing critical administrative programs including document control, records management, or official correspondence.

  • You will serve as an Administrative Officer for the Deputy Commandant for Plans, Policies and Operations Department (DC, PPO).
  • You will perform a variety of duties relating to management of administrative personnel services programs for the Department.
  • You will serve as an advisor to the DC, PPO, the five Division Directors, and their subordinates in the areas of office support services, administration, personnel management, document control, logistics, and other administrative matters.
  • You will supervise the preparation and submission of administrative reports and documentation.
  • You will provide supervision and direction to the civilian and military personnel assigned to the administrative office and the various programs for which they are responsible.
