Full Job Description

You will serve as an Administrative Officer in the Administrative Division of FORWARD SHIP SUSTAINMENT NAPLES.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Executing and/or managing command administrative functions such as naval correspondence, instructions, notices, military awards, fitness reports, etc.; 2) Developing, implementing, and managing command programs such as Records Management, Public Affairs, Training and Military Support; 3) Managing, coordinating, and planning command events such as strategic offsites, conferences, change of commands, etc.; 4) Demonstrating skill, knowledge and experience in Microsoft applications; 5) Demonstrating strong written and oral communication skills to develop reports, presentations and present to management or higher-level officials; and 6) Managing and supervising a diverse team to provide a staff quality customer service.

  • You will serve as the command representative for all administrative matters for civilian and military personnel.
  • You will provide administration program direction to department heads, supervisors, and employees in the areas of administration, security, and public affairs/strategic communications.
  • You will plan work operations, set priorities, and establish objectives for the work.
  • You will oversee the records management program by coordinating with the FDRMC Department Heads, Administration Officers and Division Heads by providing policy, training, and guidance of the Department of Defense Records Management Program.
  • You will oversee the command supply support processes and supervise the Government Purchase Credit Card (GPCC) Holder.
  • You will maintain knowledge of all directives, orders, and instructions the commander issues to the staff, subordinate commanders, and subordinate units, and verifying their execution.
