You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the CORPORATE OPERATIONS DEPT of NSWC PHILA DIV. This is a RE-ADVERTISEMENT of Announcement Number: ST-12911787-26-BDM.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11/12 grade level or NT-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing technical expertise and management oversight of a Personnel or Insider Threat security program within an organization.

  • You will serve as the Insider Threat Program Manager and Command Investigator performing a wide range of coordination with the Command Security Office, Labor Employee Relations, Security Director and Commanding Officer.
  • You will be responsible for all matters regarding the eligibility of personnel to access classified information and their assignment to sensitive duties.
  • You will be responsible for personnel security recommendations to the Commanding Officer regarding initial and continued security clearance eligibility and access to classified information and service in a sensitive position.
  • You will interface and coordinate with and advise the Security Director and command leadership on DoD, DoN, and higher headquarters policies and procedures for all aspects of the commands Insider Threat program.
  • You will lead Insider Threat Working Groups to inform, educate and coordinate activities and establish procedures to access, gather, integrate, and provide for reporting of relevant and credible information across the Command.
