The Allegheny County Department of Human Services, Office of Administration, Bureau of Contracts and Compliance is seeking a robust, self-starter, proficient in organizational skills and a leader in customer service representation to join a TEAM of Administrative Officers.

The Administrative Officer 1, Department of Human Services (DHS), Office of Administration (OA), Bureau of Contracts and Compliance (BCC), under the general supervision of the Manager, Contracts, performs administrative contract and grant management functions by coordinating the development, preparation, assembly, distribution, receipt, processing, status and control of contracts and grant agreements.
Grants are funded by a wide variety of public and private revenue sources, including but not limited to the federal government, state government and private foundations, including contracts and grants for treatment services, which are program funded, fee-for-service, private licensed facilities (PLF’s), consultants, and ambulance services in excess of seven hundred (700) contracts and grant agreements and four hundred (400) modifications processed annually.

Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. Hybrid work of up to two days per week after six months of employment.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Pittsburgh. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
