Requirements
In this position, you will be responsible for formulating policies, procedures, and guidelines that align with federal and state laws and regulations for the management of emergency management performance Grant, Disaster Recovery Assistance Program, American Red Cross, Working Dog Center, and other state grants related to emergency preparedness and disaster relief under the agency's jurisdiction. Your duties will include overseeing subrecipient grant award balances, advising on appropriate actions, and preparing regular status and financial reports associated with the grant programs. It is crucial to fulfill all reporting obligations for the designated grant programs, and you will also ensure proper oversight of county plans and budget audits related to these programs.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- FREE on-site parking
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- In the event of an emergency/disaster situation or training exercise, this position may be required to travel, work up to 12-hour shifts, and work outside of the normal work hours, including weekends and overnights.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, upon successful completion of a training period.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.

- Salary:
Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $59,345 (before taxes).

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as an Administrative Officer 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Three years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management or staff work, including experience in personnel management, budgeting, or procurement; and a bachelor's degree; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
