Requirements

As an Administrative Officer 1, you will manage the overall administrative and clerical functions of the Blair CAO, ensuring efficient office operations and workflow coordination. Your role includes acting as the site administrator for all computer hardware and software systems to maintain technical functionality. Directly supervising a Clerical Supervisor 1, you will conduct regular meetings to discuss staff changes, address unit concerns, and prepare formal performance reviews while providing indirect oversight to the broader clerical team. Additionally, you will coordinate the office's teleworking program and utilize Microsoft Office Suite including SharePoint, Teams, and Excel to enhance communication and streamline operations across the entire unit.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
  • Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. This may change based on operational needs.
  • Overtime and travel as operationally necessary
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Two years of experience in varied office management or staff work; and bachelor's degree; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
