The Bureau of Driver Licensing is seeking a driven and detail-oriented professional to join our team as an Administrative Officer 1 serving as a CDL Field Auditor.
In this dynamic field role, you will conduct both covert and overt audits of CDL Third-Party Testers and Examiners across an assigned region of Pennsylvania.
Your work will play a critical part in ensuring the integrity, safety, and compliance of the Commonwealth’s commercial driver testing program.

In this role, you will monitor the performance of CDL Third-Party Testers and Examiners within your assigned geographic region, using the CSTIMS application to identify trends, patterns, and potential compliance issues.
Your work will include both covert and overt audit activities to ensure the integrity of Pennsylvania’s commercial driver testing program.
You will be responsible for tracking and documenting audit details for all CDL Third-Party Testers and Examiners in your area and reporting your findings to the CDL Third-Party Compliance Manager.
Field audits will be conducted to verify adherence to all applicable testing laws, regulations, and contractual requirements.
Minor contract concerns identified during audits will be addressed directly with the tester or examiner and documented, while more significant issues will be escalated to the Compliance Manager for further review.
Your duties will also include preparing and submitting detailed audit reports outlining actions taken, findings, and recommendations. You will investigate customer complaints involving CDL Third-Party Testers and Examiners within your region and take appropriate action based on your findings.
Additionally, you will conduct Administrative Meetings with testers and examiners, documenting outcomes and recommendations for the CDL Third-Party Compliance Manager’s review and final determination.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Philadelphia. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
