This position is located at the SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) - Office of Mental Health, Coastal Empire Community Mental Health Center, 1050 Ribaut Road, Beaufort, SC 29902.
As an Administrative Coordinator II, under limited supervision of the Center Administrator, you will provide administrative support for the human resource and information technology functions in the Center.
Responsibilities of the Administrative Coordinator II:- Responsible for all administrative duties for the human resource functions, including, but not limited to onboarding, training, personnel actions, employee relations, separations, reporting, and CARF, etc.
Provide data research and analysis reports weekly/monthly as directed by the Director of Administration, Executive Director, Chief of Clinical Operations or Medical Chief as required.
Will provide information for special projects at request of E.D. for performance management, measurement and improvement as required for accreditation and adherence to all standards.
- Oversee IT processes and projects, including the supervision of the Information Resource Specialist.
- Assists the Director of Administration with finance/budget tasks. Serve as liaison under the supervision of the Director of Administration, for the monitoring of the AP and AP claims as per OMH policy and procedures.
- “Shall comply with the SCBHDD - Office of Mental Health Compliance Plan and all legal responsibilities and requirements in performing their job duties."
- Performs other related or assigned duties as required.
Requirements
- A high school diploma and relevant experience in business management, public administration or administrative services. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for required work experience.
- Four (4) years of experience in business management, public administration or administrative services.
Qualifications
- Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language) are a plus.
Additional Information
Post hire, employees must:- Have working knowledge of office automation systems, microcomputer hardware, software, data processing operations and system maintenance.
- Have ability to train, direct and coordinate work of users and subordinate personnel.
- Have ability to communicate well, both orally and in writing and to establish good working relationships with users and DIRM in Columbia.
Coastal Empire Community Mental Health Center encompasses 5 counties. The employee will be expected to travel to these worksites. Travel for training shall include, but not limited to, Columbia and Charleston, SC. Some training may involve overnight stays at the location.
