This job involves supporting the daily administrative tasks for a Navy career center in San Diego, such as managing records, preparing reports, handling correspondence, and coordinating events to keep operations running smoothly.
It also includes assisting with budgeting, financial planning, and tracking hiring processes for civilian and military staff.
A good fit would be someone organized with experience in office management, strong computer skills, and the ability to follow policies in a government or military setting.
You will serve as an Administrative Assistant in the My Navy Career Center (MNCC) of TSC SAN DIEGO.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Managing daily operations of administrative programs and services, ensuring compliance with directives and, regulations and procedures, 2) Retrieving, formatting information from various sources to prepare and present reports, 3) Finalizing correspondence, responding to civilian and military staffing requests, and records management, 4) Interpreting administrative policies, procedures and evaluating the impact of new and proposed policies, and 5) Monitoring and tracking suspense items to determine the approRiate course of action to complete assigned tasks.
